About Your Hosts

As your hosts, we want to share our home and our adopted island with you. As PADI Dive Instructors, our experience includes diving in numerous countries in both the Pacific and the Atlantic and includes small boats, shore and live-aboard diving. Bonaire is by far the easiest diving and most relaxing whether you dive by boat or shore. If you have any questions prior to your arrival, feel free to reach out via email or our contact form, we're happy to help.

Married on a beach in Hawaii with five lucky turtles (Honu) in attendance, the ocean has always been important to both of us.  When David retired after over 28 years in the Academic world, we planned our escape to this beautiful Caribbean island, sold everything we could, boxed up the rest and shipped it down! We live here with our Maltese (Guenevere) and six lovebirds (Mango, Kiwi, Roxy, Rio, Dushi and Boni). We love nature and are thrilled that behind the house is a green space that will never be built upon. Trees in the green space are typically occupied by our local lora (yellow-shouldered amazon parrots), venezuelan troupial and other beautiful island birds. You will most likely be greeted by the many iguanas as you drive up to the house. They're fun to watch crawl around the yard and fun to watch Guenevere chase them!

Our home is in the perfect location, encapsulated by a wall and gates, it is snuggled in the back of a cul-de-sac in a beautiful family neighborhood in the Belnem area of Bonaire. We have easy access to the many dive sites in the South and an easy quick drive to the Northern sites.  We are very close to Atlantis for kiteboarding and Sorobon for windsurfing.  Because of our location, your dive, kiteboarding or windsurfing gear will be safe and sound tucked inside the property.

If you'd like to join us for your holiday on the island, we'd love to have you!
